Rukhi Fortress was built by Levan II Dadiani of Samegrelo in 1647. This fortress used to be an important building in Samegrelo. This wonderful medieval temple and architectural monument is located on the plateau in the suburbs of Tsalenjikha. The domed central temple has entrances from three sides and a two-storied belfry is built in the stone wall and there is a gate on the first floor.
